The 16GB model offers noticeably more capacity, allowing you to run multiple applications smoothly—even those that demand higher performance. Lately, many web‑based applications have increased their memory and processing requirements, with 8GB now being the minimum and 16GB providing the next level of speed and responsiveness.

How the LibertyLaptop Works

When your LibertyLaptop arrives, Calix Solutions has already configured it to keep you protected as you explore the web privately and securely. During setup, we guide you through important security steps—such as creating an encrypted email account, subscribing to a trusted VPN service, setting up an external backup system, and more.

From the moment you power it on, your LibertyLaptop begins working to safeguard your privacy. It automatically performs a system‑wide security sync during startup to ensure everything is up to date. At the beginning of each session, you’ll simply turn on your VPN and choose your preferred virtual location. And on MacBooks, FileVault is deployed to provide an additional layer of encryption, giving your data even stronger protection.

CAT6 Ethernet Package

The CAT6 Ethernet Package will allow you to plug your LibertyLaptop™ into your modem/router for additional security. Making that connection will provide you with an undetected path to the Internet.

The CAT6 Ethernet Package contains a 10 foot CAT 6 ethernet cable and a USB adaptor that connects to your laptop. The PC will require a USB-A adaptor while the Mac needs the USB-C adaptor.
